Origami is the Japanese art of paper-folding.  While originating in China during the first or second century, it spread into Japan during the sixth century.  Initially, because paper was considered an expensive luxury item, origami was reserved for the very wealthy.  However, as paper-making became less expensive, the art of Origami gained popularity across the entire population.

Origami is a meticulous craft and requires a strict attention to detail.  Origami Floral uses a traditional folding method and does not typically employ glues, adhesives, or any substance other than the paper in the creation of its folded work.
